Youth Ministries

United Methodist Youth Fellowship meets on Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:00 p.m. The Youth have supper and recreation and grow in the Spirit each week. UMYF members are encouraged to invite friends outside the church who may not have their own church home, to be a part of the group. Besides weekly UMYF meetings, the youth participate in bi-annual retreats to Camp Glisson in North Georgia and other special activities. Additionally, the Youth participate in local and national charitable fund raisers.

Easter Sunrise Service and Breakfast :::::::::::::::::::
The Youth are in charge of the church’s annual Easter Sunrise Service, held on Lake West Point each year. They make the arrangements and produce and lead the Worship Service. This service is open to members of the community and is a special outreach to campers at Lake West Point.

Local Mission Projects ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
The Mission Committee works with local agencies  in seeking mission projects in which members, including youth, can take part. Youth get involved in projects such as assisting with Fuller Center and Habitat for Humanity.

GROW ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
The G.R.O.W. (Getting Real on Wednesdays)  Youth group meets on Wednesday evenings following Family night upper for an off the cuff discussion about issues our youth are facing.
